Be Your Own Boss in the Michigan Vending Space
Tap To Snack LLC is looking for independent service partners to manage vending routes across Bloomfield Township and Oakland County, Michigan. If you are looking for a high-autonomy gig where you set your own schedule and manage your own work, let’s talk.
The Opportunity
We don’t hire “employees” to stock machines—we partner with Independent Contractors. You decide when to service the machines on your route, as long as they stay stocked and clean for our customers.
- Role Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (Non-Payroll)
- Time Commitment: Truly flexible. Most routes require less than 10 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid per service visit or as a percentage of route revenue (Flat Fee).
What You Manage:
- Scheduling: You decide the best time to visit your assigned machines.
- Logistics: You provide your own reliable transportation and equipment.
- Execution: You are responsible for stocking, light cleaning, and reporting inventory levels via our mobile portal.
Requirements for Partners:
- Business Mindset: You are an independent professional or own your own LLC.
- Reliability: You take pride in “owning” your route and keeping customers happy.
- Physical Strength: Ability to transport and lift cases of beverages and snacks.
1. Independent Contractor Status
No Employment: You are not an employee, agent, joint venturer, or partner of the Company. You are not entitled to payroll benefits, workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, or health benefits from the Company.
- Taxes: You are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, including self-employment taxes.
- Equipment & Expenses: You shall provide your own vehicle, tools, and mobile devices required to perform the services and are responsible for all related costs (fuel, insurance, maintenance).
2. Method of Performance
As a “Gig” partner, you have the right to control the manner and means of performing the stocking and maintenance services.
- Scheduling: You set your own hours and choose your own service routes, provided the machines remain stocked and functional according to the minimum performance standards agreed upon for each location.
- Non-Exclusivity: You are free to provide similar services to other companies or maintain other employment.
3. Liability and Indemnification
- Contractor Liability: You assume all risk and liability for your actions while performing services, including but not limited to vehicle accidents, property damage at host locations, or personal injury.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tap To Snack LLC from any and all claims, damages, or legal fees arising out of your performance of the services, including any negligent acts or omissions by you.
- Insurance: We strongly recommend (and may require proof of) a basic commercial general liability policy and valid auto insurance that covers business use.
4. Limited Agency
You have no authority to enter into contracts, sign leases, or make financial commitments on behalf of Tap To Snack LLC. You may not represent yourself as a spokesperson or “manager” of the Company to property owners or the public.
